Procedure to Apply Encumbrance Certificate

  • Open the official web portal of Tnreginet
  • Register with the site if not already registered
  • Log in with your username, password, and code
  • Click Sign-in option and go to the “Encumbrance Certificate” option
  • Click “Apply Online” option given next
  • Application form appears on the screen
  • Fill the application form and upload the necessary docs (if any)
  • Submit the form by click submit option and remember to take print out at last

Procedure to Apply for Any Document

  • Open the official web portal of Tnreginet
  • Register with the site if not already registered
  • Log in with your username, password and code
  • Click Sign-in option and go to the “create an application” option
  • Click “create document” option and form appears on the screen
  • Fill the application form and upload the necessary docs (if any)
  • Submit the form by click submit option and remember to take print out at last

Procedure to search Encumbrance Certificate

  • Open the official web portal of Tnreginet
  • From home page go to the E-services option and drop-down list will appears on the screen
  • Click on “Encumbrance Certificate” and then click View EC option
  • A new page appears on the screen where you have to select EC or Documentwise option
  • If you select EC enter zone, district, sub-registration office, EC Start Date, EC End Date, village, survey no and subdivision number
  • If you chose document wise option then enter sub-registration office, document number, year
  • Enter the code appear on the screen and click “search” option
